तस्माच्छास्त्रं प्रमाणं ते कार्याकार्यव्यवस्थितौ । ज्ञात्वा शास्त्रविधानोक्तं कर्म कर्तुमिहार्हसि | | १६-२४ | |

English: So whenever there is doubt whether you shouldst do a thing or not, let the scriptures guide your conduct. In the light of the scriptures shouldst you labour the whole of your life.
Learnings from Shloka 24:
- The Three Gates of Hell:: Lust (uncontrolled desire), anger, and greed are the three gates to darkness that ruin a person's life. They must be avoided completely.
- The Path to Goodness:: By shutting these three gates of darkness, a person works for their true self-welfare and rises toward the highest state.
- Scripture as a Guide:: When we are confused about what is right or wrong, we should look to wisdom teachings and scriptures (shastras) to make balanced, clean choices.
