देवद्विजगुरुप्राज्ञपूजनं शौचमार्जवम् । | ब्रह्मचर्यमहिंसा च शारीरं तप उच्यते | | १७-१४ | |
devadvijaguruprājñapūjanaṁ śhauchamārjavam brahmacharyamahiṁsā cha śhārīraṁ tapa uchyate

Austerity of the body consists of cleanliness, simplicity, non-injury (ahimsa), self-control, and offering respect to the Divine, the wise, and teachers.
